The Company

Our Story

In the highlands of Madagascar, the raffia palm grows wild in humid valleys. Its leaves are harvested by hand, stripped, dried in the sun, and graded strand by strand. This process has remained unchanged for generations. Raffiala was founded to carry that fiber beyond the island, with the same care it receives at home.

The fiber we grade in Antananarivo becomes wall coverings in Paris, bags on Milan runways, and natural textures in New York interiors. The same material, shaped by the same hands, delivered worldwide.
