Raffiala Madagascar SARL, Lot VT 3 Ter AH Andohaniato, Antananarivo 101, Madagascar ("Raffiala", "we", "us") is the data controller for all personal data collected through this website. You can reach us at contact@raffiala.com.

We collect only the data you provide voluntarily:

• Contact form: name, email address, phone number, company name, type of raffia needed, estimated volume, destination country and your message.
• Order requests: buyer identity, company details, delivery address and order content.
• Technical data: standard technical information (such as IP address and browser type) processed by our hosting platform to deliver the site securely.

We do not use advertising trackers, and we never sell your data.

• Answering your inquiries and quotes — steps prior to entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in operating a trade desk (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Processing your orders and proforma invoices — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
• Sending you confirmation emails — part of the inquiry or order you initiated; no marketing is sent without separate consent.

Contact inquiries are kept for a maximum of 24 months after closure. Commercial order records are retained for 5 years to comply with accounting and trade obligations, then deleted or anonymized.

Your data is processed by Raffiala Madagascar SARL and by our hosting and email providers acting as data processors under contract. We do not transfer your data to any third party for their own purposes.

Some of our processors may be located outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

This site uses only strictly necessary storage (your cart contents and browsing mode are kept locally in your own browser). No profiling or third-party tracking cookies are used.

• All traffic is served over HTTPS (TLS encryption) — the site is never accessible in plain HTTP.
• Form submissions are validated and sanitized server-side before any processing.
• An invisible honeypot field filters automated spam submissions without tracking humans.
• Data is stored on our hosting platform with access restricted to the Raffiala team.
