Grade-A long-staple raffia, hand-stripped and sun-cured.
Our flagship raw fiber. Harvested from mature Raphia farinifera palms in the Alaotra-Mangoro region, each strand is hand-stripped from the leaf, sun-cured for 7 days, and graded by length and tensile strength. Prime grade guarantees a minimum 1.2m staple length and consistent golden-ochre coloration — the foundation material for high-end weaving, millinery, and industrial composite applications.
